About Me

I have always had a passion for photography, dating back to middle school when my parents bought me a Nikon Coolpix. From there I was hooked, and have always had an interest in photography. I've gone through phases of life where I took up other hobbies, but always came back to photography. Mostly recently I have been focusing on automotive, landscape and infrared photography as well as exploring the analog side of photography.

While I do really enjoy capturing classic landscapes with my digital camera, using my full spectrum infrared camera and various film cameras has allowed me to explore a different side of the world. With infrared photography, having the capability to recreate the Kodak Aerohrome film effect has brought a lot of fun to a style that can often feel stale or difficult to display. On the analog side, being involved in the entire process, from loading the film into the camera all the way to developing, scanning and printing my images has brought a lot of enjoyment and appreciation for the process of photography.

As I continue to display my work and thoughts, I hope to show people that you don't need to be a professional photographer to capture the beauty of the world around you. There is more to photography being Instagram famous, and these days it can be difficult to remember why you decided to pick up a camera in the first place.
